Bad Experience
Today, 2/3/19, I had a 1pm appointment at the Mesquite store to install a Sirius xm radio. When I got there, Marquise told me that it would be a 1.5 to 2 hour wait.
I was puzzled but I agreed to wait as it was only 12:45pm. After nearly 4 hours of waiting, I asked what was taking so long! I was told that they would get to my car as soon as they finished the previous one! I reminded the guy that I had a 1pm appointment and he said (surprisingly), "I thought you were a walk in".
At this point, I knew it was going to be around 6pm before I would get my car, so I asked for my money back and left! No one apologized or anything! They just put my money back on my card...
end of story! This store will never get my business again and I'll be sure to let my family, friends and colleagues know about my experience!
Just plain sucks
I ordered a remote start and was told to drop off my vehicle on wed night and I was called Thursday and they said it was said it was ready. The next day I went to use the remote start and it did not work.
I took my vehicle back they looked at it and said leave it and come back in hour I got a call and went back and they said it was ready. I went to use it the next day and it did not work. then they said they had to reprogram it and now I took it back 3 days in a row.
I got a call went and picked up my vehicle and again it did not work so on the fourth day they told me they could not figure it out and removed it and refunded me, What a hassle.
I took my vehicle to Trafficjamz they charged me $125.00 less than Cartoys and they had it ready in three hours and it has worked every single time. Don't waste your time at Cartoys

BAD EXPERIENCE
My name is Joe Cantu and I was at your Duncanville, TX location yesterday 10/16/18 at 3:30pm to upgrade my Bose door speakers on my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab. After looking around and hearing different type of speakers, I was convinced on going with Infi 6530CX, Infi5032 with the 12CX3004B Amp to help get a better sound out my truck.
I went ahead and purchase the equipment and had your team work on my truck for over 3hrs, after a few hours, I was starting to worry cause I had worked on car audio in past and I knew that this shouldn’t take this long and they had told me it would only take 2hrs to get it all installed. I talked to one of your store employees, he told me I could walk back there and see what was going on and why it was taking to so long. I was standing back there and listening the tech play music in my truck and he could not get it to sound right after an hour and half of messing with it. I talked to the store manager and I told him that I had been there going on 5 hrs.
and to go ahead and pull everything back out since the tech could not get my truck to sound right and that he had also sold me a refurbished amplifier. They took everything back out of my truck and could not put my Bose speakers back in because they had damage my speakers when they took them out. So I now left with no upgrade or door speakers because your techs and sales person had no clue on what they are doing. All I’m asking for is for Car Toys to put my Bose speakers back in my truck or anything at this point so that I’m not left without any music in my truck.
I have purchase car audio all my life from momma and papa shops and have never had an issue. I would always see Car Toys on television and local store and would think one day I buy from them, looks like I should’ve stayed away.

Paid for car to be vaccuumed and wiped down. When complained
I work graveyard and had just taken a trip for my kids to see their dad and always take my car to car toyz after because my car is always bad after thise trips. Exhausted and wanting my car clean.
Sometimes they do good, sometimes I am not happy. Yesterday I hand the guy 15 bucks, drive home and notice trash still around, nothing wiped and only front seats got vaccuumed, I drive a traverse. There was still trash and debree under seats from my trip. I called the manager and he said I could come down and rectify the situation.
As i pull in 10 min later there are three employees sitting outside and a truck that pulled off as i was getting to door that was locked. I turn to one guy as he is laughing at me for the door being locked and asked if that was his boss, he say yup! So I asked him why he would tell me to come down if he was leaving, another kid (that I have already had several issues with) tells me that its not their {{Redacted}} problem and I knew the store closed at 5 and called me a {{Redacted}}. I asked him to go look at my car and he told me to get the *** out of there and just verbally attacked me.
I am a regualar customer who pays my subscription every month and pays extra when i cant get to inside. I refuse to keep getting treated like this from the same person every time i have a problem. This is the 5th incident with him and this time he was off the clock so, it was apparently ok for him to talk to me like i am trash. Loading a few pics.
This is how it still looked when I left. I have four kids and, I dont appreciate being belittled and shamed after they did not do their job.

I don't understand why anyone would pay for radio service. You'll have a tough time getting rid of them when you've had enough.
